DR. IFEANYI M. NSOFOR

CEO EpiAFRIC

Ifeanyi is a 2019 Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity at George Washington University and 2018 New Voices Fellow at the Aspen Institute. He is the CEO of EpiAFRIC and Director of Policy and Advocacy at Nigeria Health Watch. He was a 2006 Ford Foundation International Fellow at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. He is an alumnus of the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government Executive Education on Strategic Frameworks for Nonprofit Organizations. Ifeanyi is a TEDx Speaker. His TEDx Talk is titled, Without Health, We Have Nothing”. 

DR. ORODE DOHERTY

Orode is a US Board-Certified Pediatrician and Public Health Physician who is working on expanding integrated comprehensive primary healthcare through a continuity of care model incorporating technology and behavior change at community level. She received Pediatric training at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh where she was an award-winning Pediatric resident and clinician. She holds a Masters in Public Health from Harvard University School of Public Health.

DR. IKE ANYA

Ike Anya is Principal Consultant and co-founder of EpiAFRIC and Trustee and co-founder of Nigeria Health Watch. A public health specialist physician with many years of service, research and teaching experience in the UK and Nigeria, he worked as a consultant in public health medicine and deputy director of public health in London until 2016. An honorary lecturer in public health at Imperial College, he teaches at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and is an Honorary Senior Teaching Fellow at Bristol University.  A Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health (UK).

UGONNA OFONAGORO

Head of Projects, EpiAFRIC

Ugonna Ofonagoro the Head of Projects at EpiAFRIC Limited and Research Manager for Health Watch Foundation, as a public health Researcher, she has worked across 23 states and across all the geopolitical zones of Nigeria coordinating numerous qualitative and quantitative evaluations, research and organising Health Events. Ugonna coordinates the Health-Tech platform “HealthMeetsTechNG” which has an overall goal driving the use of technology for health care in Africa through its events and strategic advocacy.
